JUNIOR SOUS CHEF POSITION
- looking for a Jr. sous chef to transition and eventually take the place of current sous.
- Starting wage would be hourly, with a lot of overtime in the peak season.
- We primarily do breakfast and lunch with modest numbers, roughly 8-10 evening functions per year. Our season typically runs from mid-September to the first week of July. At such time the club closes to the membership for roughly 2-3 months. During that time, I keep a skeleton crew at 40hrs per week. My current sous chef has been with me almost 5 years and will be moving on this year or next. It is my goal to have someone in place and trained when that time comes.
- Starting hourly will range from $16-$18 per hour for the JR sous. Approx.. 45-50k per year when overtime is factored in.
- year round position with full benefits, vacation and 401k.
- Applicant should be well versed in hot/cold food production, highly organized, attentive to direction and dedicated to the culinary arts.
